Job Purpose:

The Manager, FP&A, is responsible for delivering essential financial insights and recommendations to facilitate business decision-making and strategic planning. This position entails close collaboration with different departments to consolidate financial data, evaluate financial performance, and construct comprehensive financial models.

Job Duties:

  • Work with Group Publishers and department heads to prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly forecasts.
  • Perform monthly variance analysis comparing history, forecast and budget.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives, including revenue forecasts, expense planning, and scenario analysis.
  • Prepare long-term financial forecasts
  • Participate in business/financial/operational plan development and analysis.
  • Assist with preparation and distribution of monthly sales commission reports.
  • Support Staff Accountants during month end closing process.
  • Develop, maintain, and track key operations metrics to provide insights and drive efficiencies.
  • Collaborate with department heads to understand budgetary needs and constraints.
  • Support with the maintenance and distribution of sales and public notice dashboards.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting and analysis efficiency.
  • Identify and understand business challenges; propose and create solutions.
  • Ad Hoc Reporting
  • Communicate regularly with employees throughout the organization to complete all the above.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to summarize complicated analysis for key decision makers.
  • Solid verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, be a self-starter and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reliable home internet connection with minimum 50mbps up/10mbps down
