BridgeTower Media is seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Digital Product Management to lead our digital product strategy, digital & ad operations, IT, and drive growth in our digital offerings. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of strategic vision, product management expertise, and leadership skills to oversee the development and execution of our digital product roadmap.
What skills does the job require?
- Proven track record of success in digital product management roles, with at least 5 years of experience in a leadership capacity
- Deep understanding of B2B media industry dynamics, trends, and digital technologies, including Customer Data Platforms, WordPress, email marketing platforms, Google Ad Manager, Google Analytics, event management platforms
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical skills, and business acumen
- Hands on approach to project management and system implementation
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and lead cross-functional teams to achieve strategic objectives
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, computer science, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
What will you be responsible for?
Strategic Leadership:
- Work with the Chief Digital & Revenue Officer to develop and communicate a clear vision and strategy for the company's digital product portfolio aligned with business goals and market trends
- Lead cross-functional teams to drive innovation and deliver best-in-class digital products and solutions
- Analytical approach to identify and capitalize on emerging opportunities to enhance our digital offerings and maintain a competitive edge in the market
Product Development and Management:
- Define product requirements, features, and functionality based on market research, customer feedback, and competitive analysis
- Collaborate closely with engineering, design, content, and marketing teams to prioritize and execute product initiatives effectively
- Oversee the entire product lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring on-time delivery and successful implementation
Revenue Generation:
- Partner with sales and marketing teams to develop pricing strategies, go-to-market plans, and promotional campaigns to drive adoption and revenue growth
- Identify monetization opportunities and explore new revenue streams through innovative digital product offerings and partnerships
User Experience and Optimization:
- Champion a user-centric approach to product development, leveraging data analytics, user feedback, and usability testing to continuously improve the customer experience
- Define and monitor key performance metrics and user engagement to identify areas for optimization and refinement, driving increased user satisfaction and retention
Digital Fulfillment
- Build and manage a Digital & Ad Operations team to deliver editorial content and advertising campaigns across the company
IT and Infrastructure
- Define and execute on an IT roadmap to ensure stability, reliability and security of the company's infrastructure
Team Development and Management:
- Build and lead a high-performing digital product management team, providing mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability within the team and across the organization.
